The Extras is a Mythology of the Future. The work centers on a series of large drawings, the Blowdart quadryptic, accompanied by a longer series of object still life drawings. The work offers narrative fragments from an ambiguous dystopian future where a small band of queers survive together. Referencing illustration and comic books, the larger than life drawings invite viewers into their world.
