Skype Portraits, 2009 - 2010, conté and chalk pastel

Skype Portraits are a series of drawings taken directly from screen-shots taken during video conversations between myself and my good friend Melanie. The date in the title refers to the date the conversation took place. The fracturing  of the picture plane was created by the imperfect video stream.
